Membership fees help to meet the chapter's basic expenses, organize networking events for free or at a discounted cost.

Mission of ICAI Dallas

ICAI Dallas is a non-profit organization established in May 2021 and registered with State of Texas.

This is managed by volunteers (Board / committee members) with the primary objective of providing networking and professional development opportunities to Chartered Accountants from India, who are currently living in Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and its surrounding regions in Texas or Oklahoma in USA.

What are the benefits of ICAI Dallas Membership?

  • ICAI Dallas membership opens up a wide variety of Networking and Professional Development opportunities to you. 
  • On request, paid members will have access to more information on networking & professional collaboration.
  • Voting members are also eligible to join the Board based on the process set in the by-laws and even lead the Dallas chapter eventually with new ideas and vision.
  • Paid Members also get a chance to review the financial report during the Annual General Meeting and can give recommendations about different events & activities.

Who can become a member of ICAI Dallas?

We have 2 types of paid members:

#1: Voting Member who can exercise Voting rights (to elect the Board and eligible to become a director) and avail all benefits - all 4 criteria below are met:
  1. ICAI India membership, whether Active “Associate” or “Fellow” member of ICAI India, or an Inactive “Associate” or “Fellow” member of ICAI India with a help desk ticket with ICAI Dallas or ICAI India to restore membership at the time of submission of the membership enrollment form.
  2. Lives in DFW Metroplex Only
  3. Signs electronically and submits this enrollment application form and
  4. Pays the annual membership dues
#2: Non-Voting Member who cannot exercise Voting rights but can avail all other benefits - all 3 criteria below are met:
  1. Either
    1. Lives in DFW Metroplex and ICAI India membership, whether Inactive “Associate” or “Fellow” member of ICAI India, and no intention to submit help desk ticket with ICAI Dallas or ICAI India to restore membership at the time of this enrollment.
    2. Or Lives in surrounding regions in Texas or Oklahoma in USA, whether Active or Inactive “Associate” or “Fellow” member of ICAI India
  2. Signs electronically and submits this enrollment application form and
  3. Pays the annual membership dues
When is membership into ICAI Dallas Chapter effective?

This application will be considered complete upon submission of this form AND payment of annual dues, subject to approval by the membership team. The member will receive an email confirming enrollment and payment.

How much are the membership dues?

  • ICAI Dallas membership fees for the calendar year 2023:
    • $100 per year for a ‘Gold’ Member status with an option to have free admission up to 2 paid events in a calendar year, where number of events conducted are per Board’s decision;
    • $50 per year for ‘Regular’ Member status and
    • $25 per year for a Student/Retired/Looking for Work status.  (Student members should submit current student id)
  • Both Voting and Non voting members can pay the dues to support Chapter activities.
  • ICAI Dallas Membership period is Calendar year, which is Jan 1 - Dec 31. FYI, since 2023 is the first year collecting dues, there's a delay in initiating the process and therefore collecting in July/August 2023.
  • Please complete payment through Zelle or via checks in a separate window.
  • The Final list of the voting & non voting members will be published soon after the members' networking event.
  • Membership dues are NOT tax deductible by members in their tax returns filed in individual capacity as ICAI Dallas is not a 501(c)(3) organization. Efforts are going on to register as a 501(c)(6) organization with IRS. Please consult with your CPA.

I agree that my participation with ICAI Dallas is voluntary.

To the extent permissible under applicable law, I agree to hold ICAI Dallas, and its team of volunteers supporting various Portfolio Groups, and its members harmless from any complaint, claim or damage arising out of or in connection with participating in any ICAI Dallas volunteer activities.

As part of my membership with ICAI Dallas, I authorize the organization to use my image and likeness in any and all media productions - including but not limited to photographs, video, streaming video, social networking, and any other marketing materials.

I agree to fulfill the ICAI Dallas membership requirements on continuous basis for the term of membership, which is renewable manually each year.
